As a 1996 baby as well, I totally resonate with this! My favorites were everythinggirl and Polly Pocket. I remember when my family got our first ever computer and I was so excited!

I'm glad you relate <3 I had a friend who bought all the yearbooks, and I was so grateful because I too wouldn't have been able to afford them and it was so exciting to finally be able to read it in actual print instead of just scrolling online!!!

Weird you posted this right now because I just unearthed a little drawing that I did when I was a child that mentioned being in the computer room! I was always obsessed with the internet, and I wish the only negative of the internet now was going square eyed haha.

Have you played Dress to Impress? It really gave me that special feeling that dress up games used to when I was 9. xx

i feel ya. even though i'm a gen Xer, i always loved being on the computer as much as possible. i learned to code with the website "lissa explains it all". i blogged on livejournal. i still miss those horrendous geocities sites!

I love the Myscene website and the lilo and stitch sandwich stacker game on Disneys website!! Early 2000s internet was the best!
